Boys Soccer
Perseverance and growth are two characteristics of GHC middle school students. They also speak to the recent experiences of the boy’s soccer team. The 8th graders, many of whom have been on the school team since 5th grade, made a strong impact on this years team. They have grown in skills and physical size to become leaders and encouragers to the 7th graders, forming a solid team. The team went undefeated this season in league play and was crowned league champion, with an overall record of 5-1-2. Thank you to Ross Smith and Sara Tucker for coaching this group of boys.
Girls Volleyball
The Lady Sailors also had a tremendous season! In each match, skills were developed and teamwork created. Tenacity and heart on the court resulted in a winning season for both teams. The girls used their talents and skills to glorify God on and off the court. The B team ended the season with a record of 8-2 and the A team went 9-1. We are grateful to Libby McKay and Amanda Trumbull for instilling a great work ethic in the middle school volleyball players.
