Annual Fund
The annual Walk by Faith is held in October. As a school community, the administration, teachers, and students together “walk in faith,” celebrating God’s faithfulness over the years while also trusting that He will continue to bless the mission and vision of GHC.
The yearlong Loyalty Drive is the other school fundraiser with all financial gifts from these two events going towards tuition assistance and keeping Christian education accessible to all families desiring one for their child(ren).
Technology Fund
Used to update computers, software, and other technology in the computer lab and to purchase new devices to support classroom activities.
Capital Improvement
Used for major building improvements and repairs, and other long-term needs not met in the annual general fund budget.
**Funds may also be directed to many other causes including individual student tuition accounts. (Please note that gifts directed to specific tuition accounts are not considered tax deductible).
Auction
The auction is the biggest fundraiser of the year for GHC. We are always looking for great items to be donated. Our auction is filled with exciting and desirable items to bid on. Check out the list of most popular items:
- Vacation and cabin getaways
- Snowmobiles, ATVs, and fishing boats
- Sports tickets and VIP passes (Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, MSU, U of M tickets wanted!)
- Concert tickets
- Behind-the-Scenes experiences and tours
- Virtual Reality Goggles, Laptops, Fitbits, Go Pro’s, cameras, big-screen TVs, and other cool technology
- Dining Gift Cards and more
Do you have access to something cool and exciting to donate to the Live or Silent auctions? Did you know that most of the items in the auction come from our families and teachers? The heart of every auction includes great items to bid upon! We are also always looking for great volunteers to help organize, procure items, and help the night of the auction! WMCS Collaborative Golf Outing
Usually the second Saturday in September, our 5-school collaborative gather together for our annual golf outing. It is a wonderful day to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, gather together to show support for the Lakeshore Christian Schools, and have fun golfing! Business Sponsorship
Grand Haven Christian School invites local businesses to be sponsors of all/some of our annual events and student programs. Supporting businesses are recognized in various ways throughout the year depending on their level of support (i.e. in yearbook, at golf event, and on website). Please contact the GHC Advancement Department if your business is interested in partnering with us to further the mission of Christian education.
